A Conveyancer is an attorney admitted in South Africa who also submitted himself/herself the conveyancing exams and is thus permitted to transfer and register fixed property in South Africa. A conveyancer, by law, is the only person who can transfer and register fixed property. This helps to protect the interests of the various transacting parties and to maintain the high standard of land registration.
